Problems with the use of bio-fuels and inventions that can solve them

2012-07-11
Andrew (Gabriel) Livshits

Unfortunately, all kinds of bio-fuels, particularly the most massively used - ethanol, contain water in their composition
The lower the concentration of water in ethanol, so its cost is higher, and there may come a time when further reduction of water concentration in ethanol will raise its cost so that about any appropriateness of applying a mixture of ethanol with gasoline or diesel fuel, it will not go, the mixture will be more expensive than pure hydrocarbon fuel
The following discussion focuses on the latest technologies and activate the mixing, which completely solve these problems
The technology of dynamic homogeneous mixing can be caused by mixing and activation of two groups of compounds - compressible and compressible
Both groups of compounds can be obtained on the same device, with only seven still original parts whose functions vary depending on the need for a compressible or not compressible mixture
Entering the mixture components through the same opening holes, which are an integral version of the location and function, allowing for each of the integrated inputs, input in the radial direction at least two components in the axial direction and at least one component of the mixture
The technology provides a dynamic homogeneous mixing at least two options for the output of a mixture of the mixing zone and activation - in the form of a vortex, a minimum of three-helical, pipes and in the form of a turbulent, homogenized in three-dimensional flow of a mixture of
The dynamic of homogeneous mixing and the activation is carried out under pressure at high linear velocity of flow of the mixture components, and includes at least one combined coaxial flow of the mixture components at the output of which, in the annular channel, initiated by the Bernoulli effect for each of the streams, forming a combined coaxial and component flow
The dynamic of homogeneous mixing and the activation is carried out over a period of time not more than 1 second
The yield of the mixture after the completion of the dynamic activation of homogeneous mixing and can be adapted to the dynamic multiplier level of turbulence and high pressure pump
Do not squeeze the mixture obtained in the dynamic technology of homogeneous mixing and activation may alternatively be a different emulsions, as a type - the water in the oil, and type - oil in water
The emulsions obtained by the technology of dynamic homogeneous mixing and activation, if necessary, may be within the capabilities of this technology to be converted into a mixture of compressible
Under certain mixing ratios of liquid and gaseous components of the mixtures according to the technology of dynamic homogeneous mixing and activation, as a form of a compressible mixture can be obtained from a homogeneous aerosol
In the derivation, obtained by dynamic technologies homogeneous mixing and activation, compressible mixture into the atmosphere or in the amount of pressure which is less than the pressure of the mixture, there is an intense process of expansion and the expansion of this compressed mixture
When entering a compressible mixture volume, the pressure is less than the pressure in the flow of the mixture, there is a cooling of the mixture flow
A device for dynamic homogeneous mixing and the activation function has two working schemes, one of which is designed for mixing and activation of compressible mixtures, one for mixing and activation is not compressible mixtures
A device for mixing and dynamic activation is not compressible mixtures consists of orienting, fixing, and integrating the system within which the series are coaxial hydrodynamic sections are functionally interconnected successive reflectors interfaces, with the inputs of the mixture components and systems for the subsequent filing of a mixture of animation in the section the level of turbulence and high pressure pump
A device for mixing and dynamic activation of compressible mixtures consists of orienting, fixing, and integrating the system within which the series are coaxial and coaxial hydrodynamic and aerodynamic sections, which are functionally interconnected successive reflectors interfaces, with the inputs of the mixture components and the system to display a mixture of device
These technologies are tested and yielded excellent results - only the concentration of soot in the exhaust gas decreased by 97%
At the same time intensively tested at all possible in the foreseeable future to switch to bio-fuels or bio-fuel composition, a mixture of activated
U.S. Air Force conducted the first test aircraft - the A-10 attack aircraft Thunderbolt II - the "alcohol" fuel, according to Defence Talk. This fuel is in the U.S. is also known by the acronym (ATJ, Alcohol To Jet). During the test tanks was flooded with attack aircraft fuel a mixture of ATJ and standard jet fuel JP-8. According to test pilot Major Elliot Olivia (Olivia Elliott), A-10 behaved in the air, as if it was filled with conventional fuels.
Tests of the A-10 conducted in the framework of the U.S. Air Force to transfer all aircraft on the alternative fuel. ATJ is produced from sugars in the wood, paper, grass and other plant material, containing plenty of fiber.
Then the obtained sugars are fermented into alcohol, which then passes through a hydro-treating process. The resulting fuel can replace the currently used standard jet fuel JP-8.
As the Denver Post, ATJ production for the U.S. Air Force is engaged in a U.S. company Gevo. In 2011 she received a contract to supply 11,000 gallons of War (41.6 thousand liters) ATJ, produced from isobutanol.
According to the newspaper, flying the A-10 for "alcohol" fuel was held June 28 at Eglin Air Force Base, but was known about him just now. Before flying the A-10 ground tests took place with the ATJ, during which the tested engines in aircraft.
At present, the Air Force has more than 50 percent of total fuel consumption of the U.S. armed forces. Annual fuel consumption of the air force is on average 2.5 billion gallons. Under the current program, the U.S. Air Force plan to the end of 2012 to complete the certification of existing aircraft and helicopters for the use of biofuels, by 2016 military plans to reduce consumption of conventional fuels by half.
To date, all completed tests of aircraft on the opportunity to work on biofuels, produced from coal and natural gas, as well as vegetable and animal fats.
This fuel is a common name HRJ (Hydro-processed Renewable Jet). In December 2011 U.S. Department of Defense has purchased 450,000 gallons of biofuel plants, spending his $ 12 million.
In conclusion, quote summaries inventions laid the foundation for new integrated technologies:

FLUID COMPOSITE, DEVICE FOR PRODUCING THEREOF AND SYSTEM OF USE
Abstract
The current disclosure relates to a new fluid composite, a device for producing the fluid composite, and a method of production therewith, and more specifically a fluid composite made of a fuel and its oxidant for burning as part of different systems such as fuel burners, where the fluid composite after a stage of intense molecular between a controlled flow of a liquid such as fuel and a faster flow of compressed highly directional gas such as air results in the creation of a three dimensional matrix of small hallow spheres each made of a layer of fuel around a volume of pressurized gas. In an alternate embodiment, external conditions such as inline pressure warps the spherical cells into a network of oblong shape cells where pressurized air is used as part of the combustion process. In yet another embodiment, additional gas such as air is added via a second inlet to increase the proportion of oxidant to carburant as part of the mixture.
