Google and Yahoo rises lawsuits against Xerox

Google has, through its subsidiary, YouTube, announced the filing of a lawsuit against a company Xerox, where the latter is accused of violating patents on the technology of document management. A similar lawsuit filed against Xerox from Yahoo, which added that developments in the Xerox also used a number of patents related to Internet search.

Both lawsuits were filed on Thursday and in both cases, the companies argue that Xerox has not received permission for the use of proprietary solutions.

Independent experts believe that the recent steps by the two Internet companies are a response to recent lawsuits by Xerox. Earlier Xerox has filed lawsuits against Google, YouTube and Yahoo in February, arguing that technology is Google maps, YouTube and AdSense, and Yahoo Shopping violated several patents Xerox which the company received in 2001.

Xerox blamed the two Internet companies in violation of the rights to patents covering the technology to create a "system of structured queries, linked to the documents", as well as the unlawful use of methods of integrating information from documents. In the lawsuits Xerox demanded redress.
