Film director Pavel Lyubimov, who directed such famous movies as "School Waltz" and "Spring conscription", challenged in the Constitutional Court rules of the Russian Civil Code copyright law about the payment of remuneration for each film. According to RIA Novosti, the director believes that the rule wich permits the payment of fees only to author of the music, is discriminatory to other filmmakers. According to paragraph 2 of Article 1263 Civil Code, recognized authors for picture are director, writer, composer, who is the author of the musical work (with or without text), specially created for that audiovisual work. However, the fees receives only one category. Earlier, Pavel Lyubimov is already tryed to make court decision for the demonstration of his film "School Waltz", but Zamoskvoretsky district court in October 2009 did not support his claim.
