Fujinon Corp., a group company of Fujifilm Holdings Corp. has sued Motorola Inc. in the U.S., alleging Motorola’s popular Razr phone and other models infringe on its patents.
Fujinon said in a court document filed Wednesday in Delaware that Motorola had violated several of its patents concerning imaging lenses on over 20 of its phone models.
A Motorola spokesman said the company had «reviewed Fujinon’s lawsuit and believe this is a matter that involves our supplier relationships and we will work to resolve the matter through them.»
Fujinon is a Japanese lens and scope maker based in Saitama, north of Tokyo.
